Recently the eBay France team was heavily involved in the events surrounding the nomination of 40 companies as part of France’s “Next40” initiative. Céline Saada-Benaben, General Manager for eBay in France, was a member of the independent jury that had the task of choosing the selection criteria for the best performing start-ups on the French market.
Last week, Céline Saada-Benaben was present at the Elysée palace for the public announcement of the Next40 initiative and of the 5 billion euros in investment funds made by French President Macron. The next morning, eBay joined the other members of the jury and Ministers Bruno Le Maire and Cédric O to welcome the laureates into the Next40 system. Finally, eBay also participated in France Digitale Day, a startup-networking event that followed this institutional introduction.
In France, more than 20,000 companies choose to offer their products on eBay. French innovation and excellence are continually on display on eBay, a marketplace that demonstrates solid knowledge of the French technology sphere through its commitment in the Next40 initiative.
