eBay Government Relations was the proud sponsor of Campbell Middle School’s first ever Career Day. Campbell Middle School hosted its first ever Career Day on Thursday, May 27, 2010 for eighth grade students.  The day ran from 8:45 am to 1:00 pm.  The students had an opportunity to select four separate breakout sessions with speakers representing a wide range of careers. Over thirty different speakers participated and lead individual sessions.  

In addition to the breakout sessions, students heard a motivational keynote speaker at the beginning of the day.  The day finished with closing remarks from the Mayor of Campbell, Evan Low.  After the formal portion of Career Day ended, students met in classes to debrief with each other and with their teachers and to complete a career interest inventory.  This allowed them to match their skills and interests with specific careers, to follow up with speakers they  met, and to better plan their high school career.
