This week, US Congressman Dan Kildee (D-MI) visited ATR Computers in Davison, Michigan to meet with eBay Small Business Ambassador Network member and small business owner Fred Krause to learn about his business and why he sells on eBay.
Fred and his staff work in a warehouse on his property, selling laptops and computer parts. His business has grown substantially since they first started in 1999. Fred showed Congressman Kildee how his employees clean and repair used laptops that are then shipped to customers all around the globe. Trade is critical for small businesses like ATR Computers, who import components and sell on eBay's global marketplace. That's way eBay's Government Relations team is working to ensure seamless cross border transactions through policies like robust customs de minimis thresholds.
We would like to thank Fred and his staff for hosting, and Congressman Kildee for his time and his hard work to help small businesses in Michigan!
