During his visit to Australia last week, eBay Inc CEO John Donahoe met with Australian members of Parliament including Malcolm Turnbull, Shadow Minister for Communications and Broadband; Senator Arthur Sinodinis, Shadow Parliamentary Secretary to the Leader of the Opposition and Paul Fletcher, Co-Chair, Coalition Friends for the Digital Economy.
John Donahoe was joined by Jeff Clementz, Vice President of PayPal Australia, and David Spence, Chair of the PayPal Australia Board.
The meeting focused on issues relating to the digital economy, the future of retail, enabling Australian businesses to thrive through multi-channel commerce, deregulation, and exploring barriers to entry.
Last year Malcolm Turnbull hosted PayPal’s Driving Business Online seminar in his electorate which helps small businesses get onto the Internet, to make their existing online business more successful.
