1. Where will the event be held?

The event is being held at Molineux Stadium, Waterloo Rd, Wolverhampton WV14QR. The stadium is a 10 minute walk from Wolverhampton Station.

Parking: Free parking on site. Please advise [email protected] or indicate on the event sign up form if you require parking so that we can provide you with a parking pass.

Entrance: Please use the Executive 1 entrance.

2. What should I expect from the day?

You should walk away with a thorough understanding of how the Retail Revival Programme will help you to grow your business. The agenda will be a mix of keynote speeches, interactive workshops about eBay, Listings, Shipping and other tips to boost your sales. There will also be a chance to have your headshot taken.

3. What should I wear?

We will be taking headshots so please dress smart-casual.

4. What you should bring?

Please bring along, if appropriate, a product of yours that we can photograph you with.

We will be providing pens and pads so no need to bring stationary.

5. Can I bring guests?

Yes, if you would like to bring along some of your employees. Please make sure to register them when you RSVP. You will need to contact [email protected] if you would like to bring more than three guests.

6. Do I have to attend the whole day?

We have tailored the day around the businesses that have applied to make it as useful as possible. Each workshop is essential to understanding how to grow and expand your business. 

If you have other commitments and cannot arrive before 9, please let us know and we can arrange for you to arrive at 9.15 for the first keynote speech. You are free to leave from 16.15 when we kick off the Networking Drinks.

7. Who will be there?

  • All of the businesses enrolled in the Wolverhampton Retail Revival
  • eBay Customer Service (GCX), Leadership and Employees
  • The City of Wolverhampton
  • Political representatives
  • Third Parties, including Royal Mail

8. I have never sold online before, will the sessions be hard?

There will be sessions suitable for all levels of sellers. The workshops will be fun, easy to understand and relevant to your level of experience.

9. I already sell on eBay, why do I need to attend?

Even though there will be content tailored to new eBay sellers it is never a bad idea to refresh your eBay selling knowledge. You should learn lots of tricks to help grow your business on eBay and you will have the opportunity to meet with the Customer Service Team (GCX) who are the experts in all things selling. 

10. What do I have to do before the event?

Answer any questions from the Retail Revival team, fill in the RSVP form and think of a product that you can bring along on the day for photos.

11. What will be required of me after the training day?

We ask that you spend about 10 hours a month building your business through this programme.

Please go through the training materials provided after the 2nd November.
