On 22nd March 2011, the Asia Pacific Government Relations (APGR) team met in Kuala Lumpur (KL), Malaysia.
During the first day of meetings the teams discussed specific issues that were happening in each of their regions and worked together to brainstorm the next steps and solutions.
Stefan Krawczyk, Director of the European GR team also attended to share his learnings from Europe and discuss shared goals.
On day two the team traveled to the new PayPal Customer Service Centre at Cyberjaya. Elias Ghanem PayPal’s Managing Director for South East Asia gave a presentation outlining PayPal’s vision for the future in the Asia Pacific region. He also discussed the importance of providing customer service in the native languages used in the region so that our customers can receive better assistance and information.
On the final day the APGR team was able to experience some of the sights and sounds of Malaysia.
