eBay Inc. kicked off its biannual On Location event in Denver, Colorado yesterday with the Seller Celebration dinner that provided the Government Relations team with a unique opportunity to network with the eBay Inc. community of sellers. John Donahoe, eBay Inc. CEO, and Devin Wenig, eBay Marketplaces President, were on hand to provide sellers with candid perspective on eBay Inc.’s plans for the future. eBay Radio host Griff Griffith engaged John and Devin in a Q&A session on a number of hot topics, including the importance of eBay Inc. community engagement in policy issues, like Internet sales taxes.
Of note, John and Devin discussed the impact of the April 2012 eBay Seller Fly-In and described how eBay Inc. small business entrepreneurs have successfully influenced their Members of Congress. Caitlin Brosseau and Federica Rabiolo attended the event on behalf of the eBay Inc. Government Relations team. Throughout the dinner and post-dinner events they encouraged sellers to make a difference in their communities by getting involved on policy issues. Today, sellers and staff look forward to a full day of educational sessions and networking opportunities.
