On Friday 20 April, the eBay Inc. Government Relations team met with Vice Chairman Hong Sung Kyu of the Korea Communications Commission (KCC). The KCC is one of the key policy authorities in the world's most connected country and visited eBay to discuss recent global and Korean market developments. Of particular interest was eBay's position as a market leader in mobile commerce, and the policies that governments can foster to ensure competitive markets where innovation can flourish and consumers reap the full benefits of convenience and choice.

eBay has a strong presence in the Korean market, where our Gmarket and Auction brands are successful domestic businesses; our platforms in Korea also have excellent cross-border traders, offering Korean products to buyers around the globe.
