On 4th Monday 2011 the Hon Barry O’Farrell MP, Premier of NSW, unveiled his 100 Day Action Plan for the State.
The 100 Day Action Plan will implement many of Premier O’Farrell’s election promises and make the improvements in NSW that the community has called for.
The Premier’s five point action plan included to:
• Rebuild the Economy
• Return Quality Services
• Renovate Infrastructures
• Restore Accountability, and
• Protect our Local Environment and Communities
Some key changes that NSW businesses may be interested in, include:
• proposed legislation to create100,00 new jobs through a ‘Jobs Action Plan’ to take effect from July 2011,
• the appointment of a Small Business Commissioner ,
• the requirement for NSW Government to pay its bills within 30 days, and
• the appointment of a Parliamentary Secretary for Asia Pacific Trade.
