David London, eBay Inc.’s Sr. Director of U.S. State Government Relations, participated in a panel discussion entitled “Cybersecurity and Technology: Public and Private Sector Opportunities in a Changing Landscape” during the 2014 Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Annual Legislative Conference. Hosted by Ranking Member of the House Committee on Homeland Security, Congressman Bennie Thompson (D-MS), the discussion focused on the lack of diversity in technology related careers. David stressed the importance of educating youth in math in science from an early age to peak interest in the field, and emphasized risk-taking, perseverance, and networking to succeed in Silicon Valley and beyond in the tech industry.
