John Muller, a member of the eBay Inc. Government Relations team, was in Malaysia to speak at the Regional Money Services Business Conference.  The conference is a regional event for financial services regulators, hosted by the Money Services Business Team in Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

At the conference, John shared PayPal’s global regulatory landscape and operational challenges and offered a new perspective about how innovations in Ecommerce technology can enable a new regulatory decision making methodology that is innovative and flexible in the same way that modern payment businesses are.

The Regional Conference on Money Services Business (RCMSB) is a 3 day regional event for financial services regulators. The conference was attended by regulators across key Asia Pacific markets such as Australian Transaction Reports and Monitoring Center (AUSTRAC), Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), Royal Bank of India (RBI), Japan Financial Investigation Center (JAFIC), as well as representatives from the European Central Bank and the World Bank.
