Today Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine visited eBay and met with eBay VP of Global Government Relations Tekedra Mawakana, ACG & Legal Head of Litigation, Patents and Technology Brandon Pace and Government Relations Senior Manager & Counsel John Lawrence. The team met with the Attorney General in the newest addition to the eBay San Jose Campus, the eBay Main Street Building, which included a look at the many interactive displays showing the global reach of eBay and its customers. 

In addition to the building tour, the team discussed a variety of critical policy issues with the Attorney General, including Internet Sales Tax and Tickets. As a former US Representative and Senator, it’s widely expected that AG DeWine will run for Governor of Ohio in 2018. Thus, it’s critical that we continue to engage with and educate AG DeWine on behalf of all eBay and StubHub customers in Ohio.
