Last week Sharon McBride, Director of External Affairs & Operations for eBay’s Global Government Relations team, visited the local Dallas eBaybes & eMales eBay seller meet-up group to inform and activate local Texas sellers on the issue of Internet sales tax. Sharon provided the sellers with tips and resources on how to engage their legislators on the issue and make their voice heard. In the coming months the Government Relations team representatives plan to attend more local meet-up meetings to shed light on the importance of timely action when it comes to the so-called Marketplace Fairness Act.
