Launched at the APEC (Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation) Conference on Innovation and Trade Implementation Practices in Medan, Indonesia, in 2013, the Commerce 3.0: Creating More Opportunity in Asia Pacific report contains a wealth of important information. Many areas for improved innovation are addressed, including:
- Harmonisation of regulations across the region;
- Developing regulations from the perspective of SME’s;
- Regulations to take into account how organisations trade; and
- Applying data-enhanced models to the regulatory process.
This important work was followed up in 2014 with Commerce 3.0: Enabling Chinese Entrepreneurs, which extends the findings to this very important global market.
