eBay employees and event participants show off the “eBay Day” proclamation in front of the Draper, Utah eBay facility.
Last week hundreds of eBay employees at the Draper, Utah facility were joined by elected officials and community partners to celebrate UT Governor Gary Herbert’s eBay Day proclamation. The event was a great opportunity to celebrate eBay’s 20th Anniversary while showcasing the company’s commitment and contributions to the greater Salt Lake City community. Employees with more than 10 years with the company were celebrated as well.
Speakers at the event included eBay’s own Tod Cohen (VP & Deputy General Counsel for Government Relations), Denise Leleux (VP, North America Customer Experience) and Sarah Carlson (Customer Service Manager and 16 year eBay employee!) as well as Utah House Speaker Greg Hughes, City of Draper Mayor Troy Walker and Theresa Foxley, Managing Director of the Governor’s Office on Economic Development. eBay would like to thank its many supporters in the state and local government for allowing us to become an important part of the greater Salt Lake City community.
