Representative Cathy McMorris Rodgers, the Hoch’s and participating sellers

Yesterday, US Representative Cathy McMorris Rodgers visited with a group of Washington state sellers. Rep. McMorris Rodgers visited the facility of Chris & Karen Hoch, owners of Toughrooster LLC, to meet with the Hoch’s and other local area eBay sellers. In addition to taking a tour of the facility, the Representative spent a significant amount of time with this group discussing legislative issues of concern to the sellers, including Internet sales tax and international trade. Representative McMorris Rodgers listened to the concerns these sellers – like many small online-enabled businesses - have with the currently proposed Internet sales tax legislation, amongst other key concerns. Everyone involved considered this an extremely productive visit.
