eBay Philippines announced its support for local entrepreneurs, particularly women, during the Go Negosyo Women Entrepreneurship Summit which was held from 4-6 March 2011 at the World Trade Centre in Manila.

The event was jointly organized by Go Negosyo and the Department of Trade and Industry in the Philippines. Through this partnership with Go Negosyo, eBay affirms its commitment to train and mentor successful women entrepreneurs in the Philippines including Ma. Rowena Pimentel, who sells iPods and digital cameras; Joanne Lim, who sells fragrances; and Peapie Ponce, who sells watches on eBay.
