Yes!  I want to protect small online businesses from burdensome legislation by giving to the eBay Inc. PAC – The Committee for Responsible Internet Commerce.  If you are a Vice President or above, you must donate $1,000 or more to participate in the PAC’s Charitable Matching program.

Contributions to eBay Inc.’s PAC are strictly voluntary.  You have the right to refuse to contribute without reprisal.  Personal funds only, please.  The suggested amount is only a suggestion; more or less than the suggested amount may be given; and the amount given by the contributor, or the refusal to give, will not benefit or disadvantage you.  Federal law limits the contributions from eligible employees to eBay Inc.’s PAC to $5,000 per calendar year.  Contributions from foreign nationals and minors are prohibited.  Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and the name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year.  Contributions are not deductible for federal income tax purposes.  You may not personally receive any financial or tangible benefit (such as a tax deduction or a premium from the recipient charity) as a result of eBay’s charitable donation match.
