Nearly 100% of Canadian-, American-, and Mexican-based small businesses using eBay export to customers across the continent and globe. Thus, it comes as no surprise that eBay and its seller community believe policymakers should use intraregional dialogues to promote small internet-enabled retail exports.

Launched in May, the eBay SHINE Awards for Small Business program was created to recognize and celebrate the best and brightest in the eBay selling community. Judges have been closely reviewing over a thousand excellent nominees for the last several weeks and today announced the finalists in 5 categories:

Earlier this month, eBay sellers converged on Paris to share their digital and international entrepreneurship experience to those administrations in charge of defining the future of e-commerce policies both in France and in the European Union.

On April 12th, 2016, StubHub President Scott Cutler, StubHub’s Chief Financial Officer, Ajay Gopal, and eBay’s Vice President for Product, Ram Akella, were pleased to host a delegation from Luxembourg led by Crown Prince Guillaume de Luxembourg at the StubHub office in San Francisco. The meeting provided the opportunity to present eBay’s technological capabilities and StubHub’s business model and ambitions for international expansion, and to learn about Luxembourg’s pro-technology business environment.
