Earlier this week, we applauded the introduction of H.R. 1663, the Small Business Encouragement Act. When the bill’s author, Congressman Allen West (FL-22) heard the news, he, in turn, thanked eBay for its support of the bill, which would provide tax credits to small businesses hiring unemployed workers. This week, the New York State Assembly and State Senate overwhelmingly approved a motion to extend consumers’ rights to buy, sell, share or give away the tickets they purchase...when, where and how they choose. The motion was originally passed last July when New York became the first state to pass a ban on paperless tickets.
